The Kardex Remstar Lektriever vertical carousel is engineered to keep items easily accessible while maximizing space, increasing security and enhancing accessibility.

The Lektriever vertical carousel is an array of vertically organized rotating shelves, or bins, controlled by an electronic keypad. When a button is pushed the carousel rotates and offers the chosen object to the operator at an ergonomic task counter. A flexible and reliable system that uses very little space, increases security and improves ergonomics, Kardex's vertical carousel is the ideal solution for facilities that are looking to save time and money.

Delivering inventoried items and paper records to a user lowers access time by 200-300% in comparison to average file drawers or racking. Swifter access to objects and important information allows employees to increase their focus on more important tasks, increasing efficiency and minimizing costs.

A broad array of carrier configurations give the Lektriever vertical carousel unmatched flexibility. Carriers can be chosen to meet your exact use and can be readily modified in the future as your business changes. Carrier choices available are:

Kardex Remstar's vertical carousel makes efficient use of space and delivers more capacity in contrast to filing cabinets and shelves. Sixteen 5-drawer filing cabinets or standard shelving occupy about 216 sf of footprint. A Lektriever vertical carousel with about the same capacity occupies only 65 square feet. That's a 70% floor space savings.

Replace 16 file cabinets or racks with four Lektriever vertical carousels, and you'll expand your filing potential by 271% and your article storage area by 300% in the same floor space.

The Lektriever offers a standard locking door enabling the unit to be fully secured with a key. Specific carriers can be furnished with locking doors requiring a key to gain access to articles housed in that particular section.

For maximum security the unit may be equipped with an automatic security door which is always closed until accessed, keeping sensitive items and files secure in an enclosed environment.

Engineered to OSHA specifications, Kardex Remstar's Lektriever vertical carousel presents stored objects to an ergonomically positioned, illuminated work surface. To increase worker ergonomics and productivity, an optional adjustable work surface can move from a standing position of 39.37 inches to a seated position of 29.5 inches, or any increment in between for supreme worker comfort and ADA conformance.

For confined spaces the Lektriever vertical carousel can be optioned with no work space or a retractable work surface can be supplied.

For user safety, each Lektriever is furnished with a light curtain. If the light curtain is interrupted while the unit is in motion it will stop immediately. In addition to filing, common Lektriever applications include:
