Pallet Racking & Industrial Shelving

Raymond supplies a full suite of quality shelving, racking and mezzanine alternatives, including both pre-owned and new equipment. We offer attractive terms, along with services like engineering, installation, customer safety inspection and project management. If you need a hand with racking or shelving, we can help!

Cantilever Rack

Cantilever racks offer ideal storage for longer or bulky products (pipe, PVC, carpet, metal products, etc). Cantilever racking is made up of arms attached to a beam on a single end. These structural arms can be set up to accommodate different products and lengths, and the aisle side provides free access to lift trucks.

Carton Flow

Carton flow racks are gravity-driven skate-wheel rack equipment perfectly suited to applications with numerous SKUs. This variety of racking uses inclined shelving with a loading lane on the high side access and a retrieval lane on the low end, allowing a FIFO product inventory cycle. Sloped shelves also enhance visibility, allowing improved fulfillment accuracy. Carton flow equipment is perfect for piece or split case picking.

Drive In Rack

Drive-in racking is primarily used for high density industrial applications where large volumes of the same items are batched and stored collectively. Drive-in pallet racking is appropriate for operations where full bays of pallets get transferred in unison.

Bays are generally a column of four pallet. Drive-in racks are constructed with overhead beams so that forklifts can be guided into and out of the columns. Pallets are seated on parallel tracks installed on the uprights on each side of the bay.

These racking setups enable the forklift operator to advance up to four pallet lengths into the column, set the product in the right spot and then back out.

Because these types of racks are filled from the front, management of goods is in a "first-in/last-out" order.

Pallet Flow Rack

Pallet flow racking is a high density alternative that uses a deep lane storage rack layout and a first in/first out pallet handling convention. Pallet flow rack setups are generally used for applications with a large stock of pallets of uniform SKUs.

Pallets are deposited from a lane on the backside and unloaded from a lane on the face. As pallets from the face are retrieved, the pallets behind travel down a decline along skate wheels or belts. This type of racking is frequently utilized in the beverage industry, or other businesses that carry heavy products with "first in/first out" constraints.

Push Back Rack

Push back rack setups are high capacity designs that maximize capacity, supporting up to 3,000 pounds in 2-6' deep bays. All pallets are added and retrieved from the front of the equipment, allowing for extremely dense storage inside your warehouse.

This is a "last in/first out" type of arrangement. As new pallets are added to the front, the products in back of them advance up a slope on top of carts on steel tracks. The reverse occurs as products are removed.

Selective Rack

Selective racks are the most widely used pallet racks available today, and they come in a wide range of sizes, gauges and types. These racks are fabricated with either roll-formed or structural steel beams and uprights that are connected with teardrop connectors or bolts. Raymond offers both standard single deep and double deep selective pallet racks.

Depending on your load capacity and application, you may also wish to select different styles of pallet rack decking and accessories. Pick from standard wire decking, solid steel or slotted/perforated steel depending on your specific use.

Boltless Shelving

Besides pallet racking, we offer a complete range of boltless shelving in light, medium and heavy duty choices. This style of shelves is ideal for light industrial or shop use, shipping operations, record archives, parts and many other purposes that require lighter weight support.

You can order decks as standard particle board, solid metal or wire decking. No nuts, bolts or other small parts are needed for setting up this product, so installation is a simple project. Add accessories like worktables, side panels, post caps, tie plates or footplates.
