Handling materials today is difficult. With so many individual items, it's nearly impossible to know exactly what you have in inventory and where it's stored. The Kardex Remstar Lektriever vertical carousel is designed to keep things easily accessible while maximizing space, increasing security and enhancing availability.

The vertical carousel is an array of vertically organized rotating racks, or containers, managed by an electronic keypad. When initiated the carousel turns and offers the selected item to the operator at an ergonomic task platform. A flexible and reliable solution that maximizes space, increases security and improves ergonomics, The Lektriever vertical carousel is the perfect solution for operations that are looking to save time and money.

Dispensing stored items and documents to a worker lowers retrieval time by 2 to 3 times in comparison to average file cabinets or shelving. Quicker access to items and important information allows users to increase their focus on more important activities, increasing productivity and reducing costs.

A wide array of carrier formats give the Lektriever vertical carousel unmatched versatility. Configurations can be chosen to match your exact application and can be easily modified in the future as your business changes. Carrier options available are:

Kardex Remstar's vertical carousel maximizes space and provides increased capacity when compared to filing cabinets and racks. Sixteen 5-drawer filing cabinets or standard file racks occupy about 216 square feet of floor space. A Lektriever vertical carousel with about the same capacity occupies only 65 square feet. That's a 70% floor space reduction.

Exchange sixteen filing cabinets or shelving with 4 Lektriever vertical carousels, and you will increase your filing area by 271% and your article storage capacity by 300% in the same floor space.

The Lektriever offers an included locking door enabling the carousel to be completely closed and locked with a key. Individual carriers may be furnished with locking doors necessitating a key to gain access to articles within that particular section.

For advanced defense the carousel can be equipped with a self-regulating security door that is constantly closed until utilized, keeping privileged items and files secure in an enclosed environment.

Designed to OSHA standards, Kardex Remstar's Lektriever rotates stored articles to an ergonomically placed, lighted work space. To improve worker ergonomics and efficiency, an optional adjustable counter can travel from a standing position of 39.37 inches to a seated position of 29.5 inches, or anywhere in between for maximum operator comfort and ADA conformance.

For constrained spaces the Lektriever vertical carousel can be purchased with no counter or a hinged, fold-down work space can be provided.

Each Lektriever vertical carousel is equipped with a light curtain for operator safety. If the light curtain is interrupted while the unit is in motion it will stop immediately. In addition to filing, standard Lektriever uses include:
