OSHA Forklift Certification

As stated in section 1910.178(i)(6) of OSHA's Powered Industrial Trucks standard, all employees that operate a powered pallet truck or forklift should be fully educated, tested and certified as a requirement to operate that specific equipment. In this coursework, warehouse pedestrians learn to be aware of their surroundings, visual signaling, and best practices to prevent injuries and accidents.

The Steps To Safety program was developed based on requests for assistance from Raymond customers in addressing their employer-based pedestrian training needs. Steps To Safety encourages the application of the principles taught in the course to specific business environments and material handling processes.

The program can be used as a supplement to Raymond's forklift operator training program, Safety On The Move or as an independent course. The coursework can be facilitated by a local Raymond Solutions and Support Center representative or by a qualified trainer within your organization.

Virtual Reality Forklift Simulator

As a complement to its educational content, Raymond has recently released a technologically advanced Virtual Reality Simulator, featuring cutting-edge VR technology to help you develop more skilled, efficient forklift operators.

The simulator positions trainees on a physical Raymond lift truck in an extremely life-like virtual warehouse. Using VR devices, operators can get continuous feedback while experiencing convincing "real world" challenges.
