The Kardex Remstar Lektriever vertical carousel is engineered to keep things at your fingertips while making efficient use of space, heightening security and enhancing availability.

Kardex's vertical carousel is an array of vertically organized rotating shelves, or carriers, managed by a digital keypad. When a button is pushed the carousel spins and submits the chosen item to the operator at an ergonomic task counter. An adaptable and dependable system that maximizes space, boosts security and enhances ergonomics, The Lektriever vertical carousel is the ideal system for facilities that would like to save both money and time.

Presenting stored objects and paper records to an operator lowers access time by 2 to 3 times in comparison to typical file drawers or shelves. Quicker access to items and key data enables employees to increase their focus on value-added activities, increasing efficiency and minimizing costs.

A broad range of bin styles give the Lektriever vertical carousel unparalleled versatility. Carriers can be selected to meet your exact application and can be readily updated down the road as your business changes. Carrier choices include:

Kardex Remstar's Lektriever vertical carousel maximizes floor area and offers increased capacity when compared to file cabinets and shelves. Sixteen 5-drawer filing cabinets or standard file racks consume about 216 sf of floor space. A Lektriever vertical carousel with roughly the same capacity uses only 65 sf. That's a 70% floor space savings.

Substitute 16 file cabinets or racks with four Lektriever vertical carousels, and you'll increase your filing potential by 271% and your article storage potential by 300% in the same footprint.

The Lektriever offers an included lockable door enabling the carousel to be completely closed and locked with a key. Individual carriers can be equipped with lockable doors necessitating a key to access articles within a specific carrier.

For the highest level of security the carousel may be equipped with a self-regulating security door which is continually closed until accessed, keeping classified items and files locked in an enclosed environment.

Engineered to OSHA specifications, the Lektriever vertical carousel presents archived articles to an ergonomically positioned, lighted work space. To improve operator ergonomics and productivity, an optional adaptable work surface can be adjusted from a standing posture of 39.37 inches to a sitting height of 29.5 inches, or anywhere in between for peak worker comfort and ADA compliance.

For confined spaces the Lektriever vertical carousel can be purchased without counter or a retractable counter can be supplied.

To ensure worker safety, Lektriever units are equipped with a light curtain. The carousel will stop instantly if the light curtain is crossed while the unit is in motion. Aside from filing, standard Lektriever applications include:
