OSHA Forklift Certification

Pursuant to section 1910.178(i)(6) of OSHA's Powered Industrial Trucks standard, any worker that operates a lift truck or powered pallet jack needs to be fully trained, tested and certified as a requirement to operate that specific equipment. Our Steps To Safety ™: Pedestrian Safety in a Material Handling Environment program allows organizations to teach pedestrians how to take accountability in active forklift operations to create productive and safety conscious environments. In this course, pedestrians learn environmental awareness, visual signaling, and optimal strategies to prevent injuries and safety incidents.

The Steps To Safety program was developed based on requests for assistance from Raymond customers for a corporate training package that dealt specifically with pedestrians. The program can be used as an add on to Raymond's lift truck operator training course, Safety On The Move or as a separate course. The coursework can be facilitated by a local Raymond expert or by a qualified instructor within your company.

Virtual Reality Forklift Simulator

In addition to courses, Raymond has developed a highly innovative Virtual Reality Simulator, featuring cutting-edge VR technology to help you cultivate more skilled, productive lift truck operators.

The VR device positions trainees on an actual Raymond forklift in a very convincing virtual warehouse. Using VR devices, trainees can get instant responses while experiencing convincing "real world" challenges.

Forklift Technician Training
