The Kardex Remstar Lektriever vertical carousel is designed to keep objects easily accessible while making efficient use of space, increasing security and enhancing availability.

Kardex Remstar's vertical carousel is a series of vertically organized revolving racks, or carriers, managed by an electronic keypad. When initiated the carousel spins and presents the selected item to the operator at an ergonomic work platform. A versatile and reliable system that maximizes space, boosts security and enhances ergonomics, Kardex Remstar's vertical carousel is the perfect choice for operations that are looking to save time and money.

Presenting inventoried objects and paper records to an operator lowers retrieval time by 2 to 3 times as compared with standard file cabinets or racking. Faster retrieval of objects and important data allows employees to increase their focus on value-added tasks, increasing productivity and minimizing costs.

A wide array of shelf formats give the Lektriever vertical carousel exceptional adaptability. Configurations can be chosen to meet your precise use and can be easily changed down the road as your business grows. Carrier choices include:

Kardex Remstar's Lektriever offers an included lockable door allowing the unit to be fully secured with a key. Specific carriers may be equipped with locking doors requiring a key to access articles within that particular section.

For the highest level of defense the unit can be equipped with a mechanized security door which is continually closed until accessed, keeping sensitive items and files secure in a closed case.

With an OSHA friendly design, Kardex's Lektriever presents archived articles to an ergonomically placed, lighted counter. To improve operator ergonomics and productivity, an optional adaptable counter can move from a standing height of 39.37 inches to a sitting position of 29.5 inches, or any position in between for peak employee comfort and ADA compliance.

For confined spaces the Lektriever vertical carousel can be purchased without counter or a foldable work space can be provided.

For user safety, each Lektriever is furnished with a light curtain. The carousel will stop instantly if the light curtain is crossed while the unit is in motion. Aside from filing, typical Lektriever applications include:
